Little known oil trader PSTV Energy, which is under Danish management, left OLA Energy, one of the three official jet fuel suppliers at Dakar's Blaise-Diagne International Airport, in the lurch after it failed to deliver a promised cargo of jet fuel.

The Eritrean president is playing an active mediatory role in Khartoum between Sovereignty Council chairman General al-Burhan and the parties which refuse to recognise his regime. He is getting support behind the scenes from Saudi Arabia and the UAE, which are concerned to see al-Burhan increasingly recruiting former officials of the al-Bashir regime.
