The security and business implications of the Algiers-Niamey reconciliation

While Abdelmadjid Tebboune and Abdourahamane Tiani wished to highlight the trans-Saharan gas pipeline project as a means of sealing their reconciliation, it was in fact Algerian security officials who played a decisive role in maintaining and reviving relations between the two neighbours.
