The publications Africa Intelligence, Glitz.paris, Intelligence Online and La Lettre are the exclusive property of Indigo Publications. All their content is protected under French and international copyright and intellectual property law.

Subscribing to an annual subscription - regardless of what type of subscription it is - does not involve any transfer of property rights of any kind to the Client (the term “Client” covers any beneficiary or administrator of a Subscription Licence).

2. Distribution terms

Africa Intelligence, Glitz.paris, Intelligence Online and La Lettre content may be consulted under one of the following formulas:

SUBSECTION 1: SUBSCRIPTION OFFERS

A number of subscription options are available to allow you to read our publications with unlimited access, all year long.

a. PROFESSIONAL LICENCES: up to 50 readers

Multi-reader professional licences allow, via a single invoice, the management of collective subscriptions for a specific unit or department within the same legal entity. The number of readers allowed is specified in the invoice. These formulas apply sliding scale rates based on the number of readers and are intended for individuals employed in a unit where the collective use of our information is essential for the smooth running of their activities. Downloading individual articles in PDF format is permitted within the context of this subscription offer to simplify information sharing between readers listed in the Licence. Each license has an appointed Administrator who is in charge of managing the subscription taken out for the specific unit or department by the organisation. The Administrator is responsible for all requests for changes addressed to Indigo Publications (adding or taking out readers, etc.). For its part, Indigo Publications undertakes to interact only with the Administrator for all administrative matters (payment of invoices, renewal procedures, etc.).

Several identification procedures are available to adapt to the reading needs of the department or unit of the client organisation:

  • Access via nominative email addresses (e.g., [email protected]) allows each registered reader to personalise his/her consultation of the publications and to set up online services according to his/her needs.
  • A connection via a collective email address (e.g., [email protected]) allows a group of readers belonging to the same department to access the publications simultaneously via a shared login. This means of identification is available for shared licences of 20 or more readers, with a limit of one collective email address per 20 users.

  • b. GLOBAL LICENCES: over 50 readers

For organisations wishing to register a wider or unlimited readership, Indigo Publications offers Global Licences to suit the profile and size of each client. This formula makes it possible to subscribe at a very advantageous rate either a whole entity (headquarters + local offices), entire headquarters, subsidiaries, or very large departments. This offer comes with several premium advantages: consolidated administrative oversight, possibility of combining the traditional identification methods (nominative or collective logins) or benefiting from other solutions such as IP and/or EZProxy identification, daily RSS feed, dowloading individual articles in PDF format and even full-length editions upon request…

    c. MEDIA AND UNIVERSITY LICENCE

For media outlets' editorial teams and university libraries, we offer a special subscription rate to allow our publication to be distributed widely within the establishment. The means of connection used is tailored for the needs and systems in place at each establishment: IP ranges, EZProxy, RSS feeds, or nominative email addresses if a specific number of readers is established.

    d. SMALL BUSINESS LICENCE (Individuals and Small Businesses)

Small Business Licences are designed for small businesses with fewer than five employees, for students, and for individuals not using our publications in a professional context. Publications and services are accessible online only, and subscribers must provide a subscribers must provide a nominative email address (ex. [email protected]). This subscription offer allows you to add a second reader using a nominative email addressfree of charge.

    SUBSECTION 2: E-WALLET

The E-wallet offer is a prepaid account that can be used to buy articles separately. In June 2024, the ability to credit an electronic wallet was removed, making the annual subscriptions described in "SUBSECTION 1" the only means of reading articles published by Indigo Publications.

The remaining monetary credit for e-wallet holders has been converted into a number of articles to read, on the basis of EUR/GBP/USD 4.5 = 1 article. This credit can be used by our e-wallet customers across all our websites, with no time limit. The number of articles remaining is updated in real-time.

No refunds will be made on the balance of the E-wallet. However, remaining credit can be deducted from a subscription offer.

Free accounts are intended for anyone wishing to test out a publication before making a subscription commitment. They allow access to articles in the free-access area. The user must provide a valid email address, a password and then activate the newly created account via the verification email that follows. Just as it is for subscribers, the personal information you provide when opening a free account is used only to ensure that you have access to the free services. It is not shared with partners or external service providers.

    3. Extraction and indexing restrictions

Subscribers may access a database containing Africa Intelligence, Glitz.paris, Intelligence Online and La Lettre archives as part of their Licence.
