John Dramani Mahama's plan to revive security talks with Sahel juntas

Seeking to establish itself as one of the key mediators between the Sahelian military juntas and West African capitals, the Ghanaian presidency has proposed a new security cooperation framework to the countries in the region. It is to be presented at a summit of heads of state in Ghana in a few weeks' time.
