Former Credit Suisse head Tidjane Thiam tests his presidential credentials

Officially, Tidjane Thiam is pursuing his career in finance as if nothing else was happening. After having been forced to resign as chief executive of Crédit Suisse in February, he is set to become a director of the Pinault family's Kering luxury goods group at its next general shareholders' meeting, which has been postponed to June 23.
