Death of Mamadi Diané leaves a gap in Ouattara's relations with Nigeria
President Ouattara's former foreign policy adviser Mamadi Diané, who died at the end of August, was the Ivorian main contact man for many Nigerian businessmen. He also proved his worth as a guarantor of smooth diplomatic relations with Nigerian presidents Goodluck Jonathan and Muhammadu Buhari.
