The Franco-British firm which specialises in optimisation of mature fields whose oil production has hit its limit in the country, hopes to acquire two exploration blocks that it has been eyeing for several years. It plans to invest €200m in its gas development project, on which it has just reached an agreement with Kinshasa and the local consortium Congo Energy.
