Western Sahara autonomy plan on the table at closed-door negotiations from Washington to Algiers

Negotiations are intensifying over the highly sensitive issue of autonomy for Western Sahara, but Algerian diplomats are currently keeping quiet about their intentions. The focus is on October, when the UN Security Council will consider the renewal of MINURSO.
