Sonatrel plans to use its own technicians for Chad electricity interconnection project

Against the initial advice of the World Bank advice, public sector energy distributor Sonatrel has insisted on involving its own technicians in the project to set up an electricity interconnection between Cameroon and Chad. It is going to have to use outside consultants, however, to handle the financial side of the project.

In Niamey, Ahmed Lotfi drops Tarek bin Laden and introduces new Moroccan partners

YMMY construction group boss Ahmed Lotfi has had to reassure the Nigerien authorities so as to be able to proceed with his construction projects in Niamey. Tarek bin Laden is no longer involved in his plans, while Moroccan companies Koutoubia and Agamine have been brought in to give them a new industrial dimension.
