Why Gunvor is dismantling Dubai subsidiary responsible for African deals

The Geneva-based trader has dismissed all of the executives at Gunvor Middle East, which oversees oil trading in Africa. The move is aimed at quietly disconnecting an entity that is exempt from certain compliance requirements, something the group strongly denies.
